Simon, who has spent nearly six years in , is currently undergoing the naturalisation process to become a French citizen—a development that appears to be influencing his transfer plans.
French agent Bruno Satin, told RMC Sport, via MaLigue2 that the Nigeria international 'absolutely wants to stay in ' until his application is finalised.
The 29-year-old winger initially ed Nantes on loan from Levante in August 2019, before g permanently the following year.
Since then, Simon has become a key figure for the Canaries, amassing 37 goals and 42 assists in 201 appearances across all competitions.
Although linked with a move to Premier League side Everton, Simon is reportedly unwilling to leave at this stage as doing so could hinder his bid for European Union residency.
With his naturalisation process ongoing, Simon is expected to either honour his contract with Nantes until June 2026 or secure a transfer within Ligue 1.
Interest is already mounting, with newly promoted Paris FC and Rennes both keeping tabs on the GBS Academy graduate following an impressive campaign.
